Amazingly quiet and stress free, our beautiful 2 year old home is off the grid and set amongst our developing lifestyle property. We have a lovely quiet river on the boundary, the perfect place to hang out with a picnic or spend the afternoon reading a book. Our house is small, it will sleep 3 people, but there is a big deck and heaps of room for the kids to pitch a tent and to park your boat. We have 4 chooks, 2 cows and friendly huntaway retired working dog and a cheeky cat and the bird life is beautiful. There are 2 fantastic beaches within a 5 minute drive and there is superb fishing and snorkeling to enjoy.

Summary: Odette and Bruce were lovely hosts and made us very welcome. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and close proximity to Kairakau and Mangakuri beaches. The property had everything we needed and we really appreciated the fresh eggs, bread and milk that were left for us. Highly recommend as a relaxing place to stay
