With a simple, short, near level walk to the beach this property is in the perfect location offering water activities, a one minute drive to the ramp with your boat, fantastic D.O.C walking tracks through bush to uninhabited neighbouring beaches with abundant bird life including Tuis, Kereru, Kiwis and Quail, Pheasants and Lorikeets. The property has a generous flat driveway capable of parking a number of vehicles or boat and vehicle combinations. The house has recently been renovated and now has a modern feel to add to the comfort and great views it already had. It has a a wrap around deck complete with tables, chairs, sun chairs, umbrella and Webber barbeque. It also has very comfortable beds. No street lighting allows amazing night sky viewing and the night time is punctuated with the nearby activities of the native owls and Kiwis. Two minutes away is the local yacht club with restaurant and bar facilities or eighteen minutes to Kerikeri with its numerous acclaimed eateries. Ideal as a base to visit other well known Bay of Island sights but the kind of place where once you are there you never want to leave.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Leave the house clean as you found it and do the dishes before you leave; Either bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels) or we can supply these for an extra fee. If you choose to have the linen provided then please leave these in the laundry when you go.
