Unwind in your private loft while you plan your day of island exploration. Your local hosts are happy to guide you to our favourite spots or leave the planning up to you. If wineries are on the agenda, then you are spoiled for choice. Awaroa Organic Winery is just under a kilometre further up the road. Under 10 minute in the other direction, you will find Casita Miro, Obsidian Vineyard, Te Motu, and quite a few more.
Bask in the warm sun while you prepare a BBQ dinner and enjoy sunset views that stretch across to the Coromandel. Waihekeโs biggest white sand beach is only a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk from your cosy abode.
For dining, Onetangi has three restaurants of Waihekeโs best venues. 372 is a local favourite. After a day at the beach, nothing beats a cold drink or scoop of ice cream at Charley Farleyโs โ another local hot spot. Onetangi also boasts a newly built Four Square, along with a fish and chip shop and liquor store adjacent to the service station.
Wake up to sea views without getting out of bed, and enjoy the bird song that surrounds your loft. Itโs certainly music to our ears.
PLEASE NOTE: An exit cleaning fee applies to each stay. All linen and towels are supplied but please bring your own beach towels.
Minimum stays: Seven nights between mid-December and mid-January, two nights all other times and three nights for public holiday weekends.
Security Deposit: A security deposit of $300 will be preauthorized to your credit card 2 days before departure. This will be released 5 days after departure. A 3.5 credit card surcharge applies to all card payments.
