Orewa Beach is a long sandy stretch with safe swimming and gentle waves, and is great for paddleboarding and kite surfing. Orewa also has a number of great walking and cycling tracks, if you're wanting to get out and explore the coast.

Archie's Beach Bach is just a 10-minute drive to Wenderholm Regional Park and Puhoi, if you're visiting the latter be sure to indulge in some famous wine and cheese to bring home and enjoy in the garden!
