Positive: Apartment inside was great had all what we needed did come with free onsite carpark
Negative: Host was not at all very helpful it took us jst over a hour to get into garage door to where carpark was called host as we were confused on where carpark was firstly, as followed instructions sent but garage gate remote wasnt opening gate to get in! Called up host to ask what button to push on remote! She didnt really know her self if it was red button or the black either ither didnt work and it then happened to work but that was the one and only time an by the time we turned car around to go in the gate was closing and we missed it remote wouldnt work again! We had a kind man who was working by the place help us but wouldnt work, even asked another couple that were heading in the same gate if the remote we had was similar to theirs and yes it was and they provided more info on the remote then the host could! She did offer if we could park in wilson carpark she would pay, but onsite carpark is a very big thing for us and when choosing where we stay car-parking is one of the first priorities we look at first. And we declined her offer, she then opted to say it may be battery, an any possiblitie we had one to try or could buy as she was at work and far away, we were tired from travelling an it had already been about 45 mins just dealing with garage gate an remote my partner offered to have a look inside and see if it was battery, host has consented to that and asked us if or when the next vehicle comes to enter if we can ask them to let us through! Annoyed at this stage and over the commotion an hour later i did just that asked if the next vehicle would kindly let us through so we can get into parking an apartment. Host did txt to see if we got in and later said if she could she be around later on maybe to collect remote if she didnt make it, asked if we needed to go out, if we didnt mind to not go out on car and when time to check out next day if we could exit again with another vehicle from premises!
Summary: The nerve of the host to even claim damage on the remote knowing from the first call to her it was not working
