Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Good value, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, nice tv room with fridge and kettle etc., nice large upstairs living room with tv and kitchen (but didn’t use the upstairs room), very quiet, nice views from the top of the driveway and a friendly host.
Negative: The bus stops were a long walk from the property and we got lost coming home one night so it’s much easier with a car which we luckily also had. It had a long steep driveway and long stairs to the apartment which were fine for the first part as the stairs had a hand rail to the first landing but the last part of stairs were square shaped and had no hand rail so this was hard for my elderly mother who needed by help to get down the square shaped stairs. I didn’t realise it was a shared bathroom with the other guest but they were very friendly and tidy.
Summary: Very comfortable in the apartment but it was far from the bus stops.
