Summary: A charming property with character, the setting and atmosphere made it an enjoyable stay. The host was helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with throughout. A few areas could benefit from some attention to bring the property up to its full potential. The interior surfaces, particularly the ceiling and walls, would benefit from a clean and refresh. There was a faint smell of dampness, likely seasonal given the surrounding greenery and winter conditions. The deck area would feel more inviting with some pruning of the nearby trees to give you a view. These are minor points for what was otherwise a lovely retreat, and with a little maintenance, this property could really shine.
