Beachbach16 is a quintessential 1950s Kiwi Bach located in the idyllic small seaside village of Kakanui on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand.
Our unique and authentic family Bach with its relaxed, laidback & unpretentious style, offers a comfortable & casual retreat with easy access to the ocean and its many activities. The Bach has all the essentials you need for a great getaway in a serene & scenic beach setting.
The Bach essentials include a compact full kitchen & lounge area with a heat pump, Wi-Fi, TV & DVD (plenty of classics in our DVD library to choose from). Sleeping for 6 consists of 1 x double bed & 2 x single bunk beds in the main Bach area. The sleepout has 1 x double bed & 1 x single bunk bed. Shower & separate toilet with unlimited hot water. A large deck with stunning coastal views extends the living space for outdoor entertainment. Laundry located outside & ample off-street parking with room for the boat & water sports toys.
Whether you choose to curl up with a few good books (check out our wee library), watch some classics, spend hours walking the beaches and local tracks, snooze in peace, or partake in water activities such as swimming, fishing, surfing, kayaking, and white baiting to name but a few, your options are endless.
