The Space:
This unique villa shares a jetty which is located directly lakeside in front of the property. It is located perfectly between all the important places to see and experience around the Queenstown area. A beautiful and peaceful villa, it is set back off the main road providing a wonderful opportunity whilst on holiday to relax, rejuvenate, and experience incredible lakeside living whist enjoying the totally unobstructed lake and mountain views.

The Villa is accessed via a shared 200-meter private roadway leading away from Frankton Road near to The Rees Hotel Queenstown five-star hotel and apartments. Being set over two floors, the main ground floor and villa’s private entrance is located down seven concrete steps from the properties private carparking area. Uncovered parking is available for a maximum of two standard sized vehicles or similar.
The main property ground floor consists of a full kitchen, spacious dining area and two lounge areas. The formal lounge area also benefits from having an open study area to the side. All these spaces have fantastic lake and mountain views. There is also a second more intimate cosy lounge area with gas fire, smart TV, and music system together with significant reading collection for you to relax and unwind.
The Villa’s entrance area also has a standalone WC closet and seperate cloakroom.
The lake facing formal lounge seating area leads onto the main front deck which runs most of width of the property where you can enjoy a morning coffee or breakfast before the day ahead! Or, perhaps have a barbeque and celebrate that special occasion with friends or loved ones with a glass of champagne or wine. The lounge windows are all floor to ceiling height which let in a lot of light and provide stunning lake and mountain views.
The formal lounge area also has the added benefit of a mezzanine area located above it, which is accessed via wooden stepladder positioned just by the kitchen breakfast bar. (Please see photos) Here by default there are two single size mattresses perhaps ideal for teenagers or youthful adults! If additional space is required. These can be arranged together to make one larger bed if requested in advance.
The full kitchen offers all the modern appliances one might expect, large cooker, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Nespresso pod coffee machine, plunger, and drinks/fruit blender. The kitchen has all the crockery and cutlery reasonably expected from a family kitchen. The dining area is perfect for a family or friends get together over dinner, or perhaps a space to relax, play games or chat about the day’s activities.
If you want to soak up a real alpine environment the outdoor stone hot tub offers the opportunity to relax and soak whilst enjoying the fresh air, stars and partial lake views it offers. As seen within photos this hot water outdoor experience is serviced regularly for all guest stays by our external contractor.
A flight of stairs then leads down from the main ground floor to both bedrooms via single corridor. Both bedrooms have Queen sized beds and are lake facing with wonderful outlooks. Both bedrooms have their own flat screen smart Tv's, a private en-suite bathroom with shower cubical, basin and WC. One bathroom also has a large bath.
Located at the end of the downstairs bedroom corridor is a utility cupboard area with sink, separate clothes washer and clothes dryer machine, iron and ironing board. Adjacent to this and facing the glass back door is a fitness bicycle.

The Neighborhood:
The house is located on a small private road, no traffic except for residents. The Frankton Walking Track is perfect for a walk, run or a bike ride, to either Frankton or Queenstown, and just a few meters from the back door. Frankton Road, the main road between QT and Frankton is just a few hundred meters up the private road but one can neither see nor hear it.
Getting Around:
It’s a 3–8-minute ride into central Queenstown by car. There are frequent public buses from the main Frankton main road which as at March 2023 cost $5 per person any distance. Buses to Queenstown, Arrowtown, Frankton, Arthur's Point and The Remarkable Mountain ski field, all pick-up from Frankton main road.
Alternatively, a taxi is a cost-effective way to travel locally. "Uber" is also available in Queenstown; our own experience is very positive! The lake also has a water taxi pick up/drop off service point from the Rees hotel jetty (just down the track) which makes multiple trips by water daily. These go to Queenstown Steamer Wharf, The Hilton Hotel, Frankton Marina, Kelvin Heights Golf Course, and Kelvin Track. Further specific details can be found by searching online.
