Becky's Bach, modernised cottage, with views | House in Waipahihi

The 1958 native timber cottage has been renovated for a relaxed and modern lifestyle, with open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully self contained and boasts modern appliances, including dishwasher and washing machine. The living area opens up to a covered verandah with BBQ, where you can enjoy the view of either the lake and the mountains and watch the beautiful Taupo sunsets while relaxing with a glass of beer or wine. In winter you can sit in the lounge with the heater on flame effect for a cosy night indoors.

The cottage has two bedrooms, one bathroom, air conditioning and is ideally suited for a couple’s retreat or it can sleep up to a maximum of four people. A small private paved area at rear the of the house can be somewhere to relax in the sun.

As an added bonus there is plenty of space to park the boat off road and has a double carport.

The bed arrangements are normally made up as a Queen bed in one bedroom and a king single bed in the second bedroom. On request, the two king singles can be made to become a Super King. Please advise when booking.

The property is close to the Two Mile Bay boat ramp and a short distance from De Brett's Thermal pools where you can soak the day away.

Special conditions:
Minimum nights stay. Beds are made up as Queen and one King single. No smoking. No pets. Linen is provided except for beach towels. For stays longer than a week there will be a charge, if guests require clean/linen. Also owners may require access to property at times, but will provide guests with plenty of notice. Rubbish must be left in bins provided or taken away if bins are full. As we do not have cleaning fee we would appreciate guests leave the property clean and tidy otherwise we may need to charge a cleaning fee of $50.
