Te Puia's geysers are around six minutes away, the lakefront, Government Gardens and the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa about eight, and Skyline's gondola and luge, Canopy Tours, Zorb and the Redwoods Forest all roughly ten. Local shops and cafes are a short drive or a stroll away.
Getting Around:
The central location makes getting around easy - there's a bus stop just around the corner, and free parking in the garage and on the street if you're driving. Te Puia is about 6 minutes away, central Rotorua and the lakefront around 8, the Redwoods and the northern attractions roughly 10, and Rotorua Airport 15 minutes. Local shops are a quick 5-minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk.
