Positive: Great location and easy access to town centre. Friendly and helpful staff Fresh (not UHT) milk every day (because we had to move rooms)

Negative: This was the first of three separate nights at Blue Peaks Lodge. The second was the following night included as part of a tour. Others in our group that booked after us were able to keep the same room but we had to move luggage into storage for the day. The room was cramped with a basic kitchenette (we had to use a cup to fill kettle from the bathroom sink). There was a light outside the bathroom window that was on all night and lit up the bedroom. There was also the constant hum of a fan. The room was on the bottom floor near the laundry, so noise could have come from that. Our other booking was a lot more spacious, had views, was better equipped and only cost $10 more.

Summary: Great lodge just outside the centre and only a short walk from lakefront and gardens.
