Wind up the tree-lined private drive and you arrive at the secluded oasis of Broadoaks Retreat, a place to rest and recharge amongst the beautiful established country gardens and native birdsong. You will feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of busy life, yet close to Waikanae township and Kapiti's beautiful beaches.

The home exudes comfort and luxury with an entry foyer that leads to the elegant lounge with a cozy open fireplace, underfloor heating and a 50” 4K Smart TV (our favourite winter room!) The french doors flow out to the expansive west facing deck that is drenched in afternoon sun. A Weber Family BBQ is undercover on the deck for all year round use.

Step up from the lounge to the formal dining area that can seat eight people.

The well appointed and equipped kitchen is an entertainers delight featuring European appliances including a 900cm oven and 6 burner gas hob plus a Nespresso machine.

Gather around the large island bench or relax in the adjacent living area featuring a 65” 4k Smart TV, including Sky and Sky Sport. Fast WiFi is also available. This living area during the winter months is warmed by the wood-burner and toasty underfloor heating. The fabulous kitchen and living area leads directly out to the sunny pool terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The unique bedroom configuration consists of three separate wings:

- The master suite has a king bed with a stunning fully tiled ensuite that has a double spa bath and rain head shower. There is also a full size walk-in-wardrobe.

- The upstairs wing has 2 bedrooms (1x queen bed and 1x queen bed), full bathroom with shower and a lounge area that separates the bedrooms.

- The downstairs wing comprises of 2 bedrooms with 1x queen bed and 1x super king bed (which can be split into 2x single beds on request) full bathroom with shower.

- The 6th bedroom is single size with a single bed, there is also room for a portacot. This bedroom is adjacent to the master bedroom.

The 4th bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen/living/patio area. There is also a separate fully equipped laundry.

For those that still need to work whilst away there is a desk in the downstairs bedroom area space.

Broadoaks is a place where families and groups can relax, reconnect and have some fun amongst the beautiful tranquil surroundings and stunning country gardens in both summer and winter.

For the more energetic enjoy activities such as tennis (all weather court) swimming (seasonal) or playing lawn games at the Summer House Pavilion lawn - a great spot for a G&T!

Broadoaks is a perfect venue for corporate team building/offsite days or meetings being just 40 minutes drive from Wellington CBD and 1 hr from Palmerston North.

Broadoaks is a stunning location and facility for SMALL family functions, weddings or special occasions where extra day visitors may attend (20-25 max in total at the property INCLUSIVE of overnight guests. Day guests must leave by 10pm). We would be happy to consider your request - extra fees will apply

Other things to note
The pool is not heated but gets nicely warm over the summer months. **The pool is available from October - April**

Onsite parking for at least 8-10 vehicles

Pets are negotiable (please enquire) - pets must be well mannered and kept contained within the property at all times and not left alone at the property.
