Summary: It was a cheaper place to stay. Our room was clean but shabby. The campground buildings all needed washing down on the outside to remove mould and mildew. All fixable stuff. There appears to be permanent residents that stay up and talk until the wee small hours, but earplugs helped! Great location, and the laundry and kitchen had everything we needed.
