Positive: A cute and quirky house with lots of unique artwork and bright colours throughout. The owner really loves blue! Room 3 had it's own bathroom, which really needs a curtain on the window as it is right next to the shower. Apart from that, it was exactly as the photos show, but with amazing views from the room which I wasn't expecting. The location is awesome as it's only a few minutes walk downhill into town where there are many places to eat and drink. Plus it's a short walk to the lake front. We highly recommend the almond croissants from Ferg bakery!! Don't forget that it is a walk uphill to get back to the house but it's easy enough for fit people, or you can get an uber or cab. The house is a little tired but it is clean and was great value for the price. We met some lovely Danish girls who were in one of the other rooms for a few days. We didn't see any of the other guests on the other days. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well every night. Overall we loved our room and the house. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again. * Note - the photos were taken when we were checking out that day. One of the photos was taken from the Gondola ride which is just around the corner. The other photo is the view from the street corner, on the way down to the city from Isle Street.
Negative: The downstairs bathroom always had a wet patch on the carpet just outside the door to the bathroom. Room 3 upstairs has it's own bathroom, but the wet patch on the carpet is worth avoiding if you are walking around in socks! The driveway down to the front is a little steep, we managed OK but steps to the front door from the street would be better. I'm not sure how you would get to the door if it was snowing or raining if you didn't have good shoes on. I managed in heals though!
Summary: We loved this cute and quirky house that was priced well. We will definitely stay in Suite 3 again.
