Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Tidy and clean. Comfortable and functional bedroom. Nice shower. Close to center of Whangarei and also the falls and Tutukaka coastline. Easy to contact the friendly and helpful owner.
Negative: Felt like it was mid-renovation as the twin room was in the basement. The bathroom was through the garage. There were other guests upstairs so I didn't feel comfortable using the kitchen. Probably the upstairs is a lot nicer than the downstairs twin room.
