The downstairs living spaces are spacious and open-plan. You’ll find a full kitchen, dining room and lounge with a log fire for winter warmth. This space opens onto the covered deck and lawn for easy summer living. A great place to relax and enjoy the sun or shade, and the beauty of the wilderness garden.
Internal french doors off the lounge lead to a cosy bedroom with 2 single beds (low futon slat beds with comfortable inner-sprung mattresses).
Upstairs you'll find a sun light-filled attic bedroom, with views of the tree-tops and native birds. This room has a queen slat bed with a comfortable inner-sprung mattress.

Summary: We had a great stay at the Birdsong cottage, which has a very personal feel to it. The garden space is fantastic to relax at the end of the day. We thought the accommodation was well equipped and Nicola was a welcoming host!
