Our holiday home is lovely and warm and fully insulated. Afternoon sun streams through the front Bi-fold doors. Our interior is a soft blue throughout with a coastal theme. Our Bach is light and bright with morning sun for breakfast on the rear deck, and cold drinks on the front deck in the afternoon. A great place to relax and soak up the afternoon sun. A BBQ in the shed for evening meals outside. Our lounge is a lovely open plan area to relax and chill in. The doors Bi-fold right back for entertaining. The huge bean bags are lovely for kids and adults alike.. The seating has leather couches and a black leather sofa bed if required. Our kitchen has all the mod cons, from fridge freezer, dishwasher, range-hood, microwave, electric beater, juicer, electric frypan, coffee grinder, coffee machine and full oven. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a separate toilet. Some toiletries provided. A separate laundry at the end of the hall with a tub. Our outside shower is the best thing since sliced bread. Very private with hot water plumbing, great after a day at the beach, or first thing the morning showering with bird song. Our yard is fully fenced, small pets ok please ask. Our location, just a street away from the beach itself. One of NZ's safest surf beaches. Oodles of boogie boards, noodles, buckets and spades, surf boards and beach gear. Our Bach is suitable for couples and families wanting to getaway for a weekend or a summer holiday
Lots of freedom do do your own thing and self cater. If that's not your thing, there are lots of local eateries to temp you. Markets Sunday morning over the summer months.
Waihi beach info center has info on activities in Waihi, Kati Kati and Tauranga.
Fishing, walks to Orokawa, mine tours, mountain biking, Gorge walks and train rides between Waihi and Waikino.
