A rural retreat that is deal for couples. This purpose built barn annex was added to the Edwardian NZ villa in the 1970's and is now converted to spacious and comfortable guest accommodation.. This farm-stay offers an opportunity to relax and enjoy our organic smallholding and the surrounding beautiful countryside, with views of Mount Arthur. Awake to the sound of birdsong, watch the sun rise over the meadows and, as it sets, over Mount Arthur, relax with a drink or two on the expansive patio. The perfect place to relax after a day on the river fly-casting. We provide a welcome breakfast basket.
Abel Tasman, New Zealand’s smallest National Park, 40 minutes away, is probably our most famous landmark and one you will no doubt be visiting. Kahaurangi, situated close by, is the country’s newest National Park. It has rugged beauty and alpine scenery to match anywhere in the world. Another Treasure is Nelson Lakes National Park a little further afield. We are close to the Motueka River renowned both for trout fishing and it's swimming holes.
There is so much to do! You are spoilt for choice around here. The great outdoors beckons with climbing, walking or cycling our Great Taste Trail nearby or the many other local mountain bike trails, canyoning, yachting, paddle boarding and kayaking in the river or the sea, or sky diving 25 minutes away. Don’t forget our local artists, potters, vineyards, restaurants and craft markets.
