Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The location was good for me as it was relatively close to the venue I was training at; however, it was a very residential location so not a lot in the way of amenities close by. It was a 20-minute walk to get dinner. I was provided with a sashay of coffee for the first morning but nothing further after that. It was not communicated well what would be provided and what I needed to bring myself.
Negative: I was double booked for the first night of the stay. The host arranged alternative accommodation for me for that night, but it was disruptive to the stay to be somewhere else for one night, and this was only communicated to me a day before I flew out despite the fact that this accommodation had been booked for some time. I would have preferred more notice so as I could have arranged other accommodation for the entire stay.
Summary: The facilities were lovely, and the hosts were friendly, but communication could be worked on.
