Positive: Great spot for those looking to stay closer to the carpark for Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Approximately 25-30 minute drive to the shuttle lot. Appreciated thoughtfully-detailed guest manual with restaurants and other local attractions. Highly recommend reservations at nearby Hare & Copper Eatery. Check in was easy - we called the hosts for the key code. Bathroom was clean and updated. Kitchen was dated but large refrigerator suited our needs.
Negative: Multiple keys for multiple doors made it a bit tricky to come and go.
Summary: Close to Tongariro National Park and Alpine Crossing
