This property was built in 1910 and has been restored to its former glory, implementing eco-friendly building methods and systems.

The property features a beautiful up-cycled timber kitchen and dining area, an upstairs kitchenette, a complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, and free wifi. Guests have access to a large games room/meeting room/function area with a large screen TV and sound system.

Out back, there’s a covered, outdoor entertaining area that overlooks a beautiful, edible garden where guests can relax and pick fresh produce to prepare a meal. There's even private outdoor baths for those who want to enjoy a soak under the stars!

The Eco Villa is ideally located in the heart of Christchurch Central and within walking distance to everything in the inner city; 150 meters from the Transitional “Cardboard” Cathedral, 850 meters from the CBD, and just 700 meters from the New Regent Street Pedestrian Mall.

The main bus depot is just 5-10 minutes walk, and there is also a bus stop outside our door. Limited onsite parking is provided; additional free parking nearby.

All Super King beds can be split into single beds making a total of 19 individual beds if required, with an additional fold out couch as an option. We can sleep a total of 20 guests with 3 double/queen beds that can't split into singles. Please note additional fees apply for the use of extra bedding or the splitting of more than two king beds into singles.

A $500 bond is required to be paid with your final payment and will be refunded within 7 days of departure.
