Positive: The home was a perfect location for our whānau plans and certainly has a homely vibe to it. The neighborhood we were in was full of welcoming people as well.

Negative: Unfortunately, the quality of the facilities versus the cost was not balanced. My whānau and I cleaned the property upon arrival as we had young children with us. The floors were dirty, and most things in the home were covered with dust. There were many things as advertised as being part of the property that were not provided including toiletries, carpet etc. The lawns were long when we arrived but our children were thankful to be able to play outside (two are crawlers) once the lawns were mowed just before we left. Our beds were incredibly uncomfortable (could feel the springs in the mattress), and the home lacked basic necessities including kitchen knives that are sharp, cleaning products, plugs throughout the house as opposed to one plug for everything etc. which I would expect given the home can have up to six people in it. We ended up needing to purchase things, including knives and air beds, which was an additional cost to the large sum we paid to stay at the property. I've encouraged the owners to update the home advert online to ensure that other families have an accurate understanding of what they're paying for.
