The ocean beach is a 7-10 minute walk away. During summer, surf patrols operate at either end of the beach. Stunning Anzac Bay is a 15 minute walk, a great spot for families and young children. The surrounding area also offers beautiful bush walks and great views.
Waihi Beach township is just a 7 minute drive away and offers boutique shops, a supermarket, cafes, a medical centre and the RSA, which boasts a fabulous view.
Waihi golf course is a 15 minute drive away.
