Positive: We were upgraded to the King suite after a small booking platform issue, and wow what a fabulous experience! Our hosts were lovely, very warm and welcoming, nothing was a problem. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and with very comfortable beds. We very much appreciated the beautiful breakfast spread which included proper coffee (espresso machine), homemade muesli, homemade bread, home grown fruit and eggs, cereals, spreads, herbal teas...all in a relaxing setting overlooking the garden and tennis court. Delphine and Guillaume made our 9yo feel right at home, and as we stayed over Easter their extra special touch of laying chocolates on the steps up to our room for our daughter to find was super cute. We loved the tennis court, the reading nook with kids books and bean bags. Although we didn't get to try it this time, the outdoor fireplace and spa pool looked like the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine or toast some marshmallows. Perfectly situated, just 15 min from Kerikeri and about the same to Paihia, Forest Waters was a lovely home away from home. Thanks for having us!
