The Hub was build mainly from recycled/ re useable building materials. The facility is total open style accommodation ( separate area's but no doors or rooms as such) and with basic facilities.The Hub is set up as a simple yet funky get away from it all fun place to stay along the theme of what is generally known in NZ as a Batch. Its a great spot for bikers or families visiting Rotorua with boats as there is plenty of parking provided
Great outdoor spaces, with large BBQ area and big tables and space to hang out and relax
Feed the free range chicken, pick some fruit from the Orange grove
The Hub sleeps up to 8 people. ( 2 bunk beds, 1 queen, one King and one Ikea bed which can either be used as one single or queen)

Summary: We struggled to get a suitable hot cold balance in the showers but as we were only there for a short stay did not contact the host for assistance. The property was generally clean and tidy however better instructions as to where to place rubbish at end of stay would be appreciated as bins were difficult to locate. Ample kitchen equipment and while no full oven, an air fryer is able to be used in its place.
