Positive: We arrived just as snow started falling and ended up getting snowed-in by the next morning when we were due to leave. The team at Guide Hill Station kept us informed of road clearing, reassuring us that a late check out would not be a problem. They cleared our car of snow and took us safely to the road where we were able to safely resume our onward journey to Christchurch. I only have praise for the way they looked after us and ensured we were comfortable during our stay. The room was clean, warm and modern, with the vista of the lake making the trip well worth the effort. 🙏
