Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Friendly welcome at reception, which also contains a large array of material for local sights. This was also complimented by a good guest compendium in the room. Room was of a studio type, containing a large comfortable bed along with two single beds. Also had a large table with chairs. Heating took a little while to take effect but once achieved, maintained a comfortable warmth. It had a separate kitchen containing all essential items. Ensuite was of a good size and contained a shower over tub that had good water pressure and hot water. While located on a main highway, room was quiet. A little travelling is however required to reach Invercargill’s CBD and dining options (apart from a local takeaway). Excellent Wi-Fi.

Negative: Heating took a little while to take effect. The kitchen had a “tired” appearance, and in need of some maintenance and redecorating. Ensuite was of a good size and contained a shower over tub that had good water pressure and hot water. Only a bar of soap was supplied instead of shower gel, and no hair wash.
