🚶 Beside the historic Queenstown Gardens, just a couple of minutes walk from the lake front and center of town!
🚌 20 minute bus ride away from the Airport. The bus (called 1) comes every 15 minutes from the stop right outside the arrivals gate of Queenstown Airport and you get off at the Garden Court stop which is a 1 minute walk from Black Sheep.
🚗 15 minutes drive from the Airport. There is free on-street car parking around the hostel.

Please notify the property in advance if arriving after 9pm.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
â— Please note that the number of people per room is not guaranteed and can be changed as required by the property, regardless of original booking request.
â— Our standard cancellation policy is 4 days. However, this excludes guests booking with our weekly rate (contact Blacksheep directly for access to this), new year bookings, discounted special or groups. These are all paid upfront and non refundable.
â— Please note the additional fee for pre charging your card is 3.5%.
â— Our alcohol policy is no drinking onsite after 8:30pm (excluding special events periods where further restrictions are mirrored by the Queenstown Council).
â— Persons who are not a guest of Black Sheep are not allowed to stay on the property. Any extra people will be charged and asked to leave immediately.
â— The property has the rights to refuse any booking and bookings can be cancelled at the discretion of the property.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All bookings are non-refundable or ammendable from 4 days prior to the day of check in. For regular bookings, if you cancel outside of the standard 4 day cancellation policy, you will not be charged.

We do not provide refunds for weather events, travel delays or road closures. We recommend that you take out travel insurance for your vacation.
GROUP BOOKINGS
ðŸ§'â€ðŸ¤â€ðŸ§' Please note group bookings (6 or more) have to be booked directly and can be cancelled at the discretion of the property. Additionally, any bookings which are made separate that are deemed to be together can be charged as a group or cancelled by the discretion of The Black Sheep Backpackers.
ðŸ§'â€ðŸ¤â€ðŸ§' $50 CASH deposit per person on arrival is required as a security deposit for the whole group (example.6 Adults x $50 = $300). This will be refunded during check-out upon no damages have occurred by the group during your stay.
ðŸ§'â€ðŸ¤â€ðŸ§' Full payment is required at the time of making the reservation and is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance from this stage.
ðŸ§'â€ðŸ¤â€ðŸ§' A valid credit card is required to be kept on file per room as a security for hostel damages.
CAMPERVANS
🚠Vans should not be more than 2.8 meters long.
🚠We accept non-self contained vans as you have access to our bathroom facilities.
🚫 We do not accept motorhomes or tents.
🚫 Tables and hanging of clothes on the fences and within the hostel is not possible.
🚮 Dispose the rubbish properly and do not litter on the parking spaces.
ONLY FOR NEW YEAR’S PERIOD
🎆 5 night minimum stay required.
🎆 New year’s booking will be charged in full at the time of making the reservation, which are non-refundable and non-transferable.
🎆 We allow no one under the age of 18 for New Years 28/12 - 03/01.
🎆 I.D must be provided at check in. We accept a passport, driver’s license or HANZ 18+ card ONLY.
🎆 There will be a liquor ban in place mirroring the Queenstown Lakes District and alcohol cannot be consumed on the premises.
