Bike Bach Tairua is perfectly set up for motorbike riders with the decor and carpeted garage you know the owners love their bikes and riding! The bach has 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen and a single bed, bedroom 2 has 2 singles, and bedroom 3 has a double bed. There are 2 bathrooms each with shower & toilet.

Lovely water views from the spacious well-equipped house. Indoor/outdoor living close to beaches and a short stroll to Tairua township. The bach is great for families or friends travelling together. It is a central location for visiting Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove.

"Bike Bach - Tairua" is a unique and funky accommodation specifically catering to motorcyclists, but of courseyou don't require a motorcycle to enjoy "Bike Bach" Tairua. "Bike Bach" is great for families and groups too. You will love the stunning harbour views and be able to stroll the short distance (10 minutes slow strolling) to the township to shopping, cafes and restaurants, Pepe Reserve playground and beach, or pop across the road to the wharf to throw in a fishing line or catch the ferry to Paku or Pauanui. Ocean Beach (surf beach) is a five-minute drive for swimming, surfing or just lazing on the white sand beach.

Bike Bach - Tairua is a stand-alone two-storied house providing "ride-in" lock-up parking for up to 6 motorcycles. The carpeted parking garage is situated in the downstairs area of the bach and open to the entry foyer which provides comfortable seating, so you can sit and admire your "pride and joy" while having a coffee and a yarn.

Don't worry if you haven't got a motorcycle, the “bike theme” is continued throughout the entire, tastefully redecorated interior of the house for your enjoyment. There are numerous motorcycle signs, large old-time motorcycle print reproductions on the walls, and a funky motorcycle window decal in the downstairs bathroom. Go ahead and dream!

In the winter months crank up the wood burner and settle in. Games table with fooze ball, pool and table tennis to keep you amused and a selection of DVDs, games and magazines. Fishing rods are available to try your luck at the wharf across the road.

Tairua is a fantastic holiday destination with beautiful beaches and scenery and is close to Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. It is about 2 hours from Auckland, Tauranga or Hamilton.
It is a beach holiday resort on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula, on the popular "loop road" ride. In summer it's a bustling little town, but the rest of the year it's very laid-back. If you enjoy walking or hiking there are many trails you can do depending on your ability. A walk-up Mt Paku will provide some stunning views and is well worth the walk. Take a day trip to Whangamata or Whitianga or just stay around town. There is a fantastic surf beach. If you enjoy a spot of fishing you could throw in your surf caster, or just grab a surfboard and enjoy the water. If you prefer a slower pace you could wander through town and check out the eclectic mix of shops, or if you are lucky enough to be here on the first of the month you could meander around the markets. For any golfers out there Tairua has an 18-hole golf course with a clubhouse, bowling green and a restaurant. Tairua also has public tennis courts. These are free to use just bring along your own gear. Next door is an exercise area and a basketball court so there is plenty to do for those active relaxers. If you prefer a slower-paced holiday then a day at the beach cannot be beaten.
