Milford Sound is 2 hours drive and Manapouri is 25 minutes drive. You then catch a boat which will take you to the top of the lake and from there you take a bus over to Doughtful Sound.The Space:It is located in a small town on the South Island of New Zealand. The ideal Te Anau accommodation where you can unwind and reconnect with nature, complete with spectacular mountain views, fresh air, and nearby farm animals to keep you company.A comfortable stay and one of the best tiny house rentals with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use. If you plan to spend your tiny house NZ escapes here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that due to the proximity of the property to farmland, traffic noise and the wailing of sheep and deer may be heard in autumn.Guest Access:Guests will have access to the tiny house and are welcome to take a stroll to the end of the lane, where you can find a lovely lake, perfect for small picnics. If there is no stock in the front paddock where the tiny house is situated, they are welcome to go for a walk in the paddock. There is no service from Invercargill to Te Anau. However, we recommend to guests that it'd better to fly into Queenstown. If guests are coming by bus, we can arrange to pick them up from the bus depo in town. Please contact us 24 hrs before arrival so we can make the necessary arrangements.Other Things to Note:- We have a pet cat called "Ali"- No smoking allowed on the property- No pets as we have stock on the property- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed- Watch for cars if you go for a walk down to the end of the lane- We have farm animals close to the property; please keep a safe distance- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge- Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark have good reception. on the property while Telstra and Optus have no signal- Please do not enter animal paddocks or open gates down the lane to take photos of the deer, sheep, cows, etc as these belong to our neighbours. Important note: - Potential main road noise and stock noise from farmland- Not safe for fire pit and no BBQ grill yet until further notice- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more.
