Positive: Location was great for the purpose of our stay: golf at Jack’s Point. It is close enough to a small shopping complex with supermarkets and restaurants. It’s a convenient drive to CBD and Arrowtown etc (we had a rental car). The instructions were very clear so checkin was easy. The place was very clean and spacious. It was nice to return home to a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood with little to no light pollution at night. It felt very secure and safe too. I note that this house is situated in the Jack’s Point residential settlement area.
Negative: This house is fully open plan (no doors for the two beds upstairs), and there are no curtains/drapes for all windows except the ones on the roof. Needless to say, this was painful as there is light coming from all directions. Neither of these points was clear when booking this property. The front door is also floor-to-ceiling glass, so it was tricky in regards to privacy.
