Kaiapo Lodge has been thoughtfully prepared to ensure you have everything you need for the perfect stay. During summer take a dip in the pool, or on the cooler days warm up in the spa after a long day exploring the best of what Taupo has to offer. Please note, year-round the swimming pool is NOT heated, thanks.
The spa will be lovely and warm throughout the year for your enjoyment. Please note, given the nature of Airbnb and back-to-back bookings, occasionally, these facilities will be out of use for a short period of time for servicing by our pool technician.
Set in its own elevated landscape this home has stunning views in all directions, including out over Lake Taupo to the mountains in the South. It is close enough to Taupo (10 minutes drive) to enjoy all the town has to offer, yet just far enough out of town to ensure you have total peace and privacy during your stay.
When you book to stay at Kaiapo Lodge you will have exclusive use of the property with the use of four bedrooms and two bathrooms (with a beautiful bath included). An additional 3 single mattresses can be provided and made up with bed linen upon request at booking.
We have one wing of the house that is closed to guests for our personal use, h
however this will not be in use during your stay, therefore you can book knowing that you will have total privacy and peace throughout your time at this stunning property.
We tend to leave guests in peace to enjoy their stay, however the team are just a message or phone call away should you require any assistance.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Swimming - Please supervise children around and in the pool and spa at all times, and please do not drink alcohol in the pool or spa.
Please do not run around the pool area as this gets wet and can therefore be slippery.
Pond - There is a small pond out in the backyard. Please supervise children at all times around this pond.
Fences - The wired fence that runs around the edge of the section between the lawn and the paddock is electric. Please do not touch it, and ensure children do not go near it. The fence is there to ensure the highland cattle remain in their paddocks.
Highland Cattle - The cattle are there to view, but under no circumstances should you approach them as they are known to be grumpy, and at times aggressive. Do not enter the paddocks for any reason.
PETS - Strictly no pets allowed.
