As shown and described in the listing, there is a mezzanine bedroom at Lake Hawea Owl's Nest that is accessed via a secure ladder that has handrails. The ladder is on rollers and so can be pushed flush up against the wall when not in use. The mezzanine level is able to be closed off at the top with a gate when the ladder is in either position. An optional panel can be placed on the ladder to prevent children from climbing it. All guests should take extra care when accessing the mezzanine, and parents should closely supervise children.Please note that the third photo shows the new ladder up to mezzanine with rails.The two king single beds in the mezzanine bedroom can be joined together to create a super king bed. If you require the super king option, please let us know when booking so the appropriate linen can be provided.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year.
