Remuera is an affluent inner city residential suburban area located four kilometres to the southeast of the city centre. Remuera is one of Auckland's older suburbs characterised by many large houses, often Edwardian or mid 20th century. There is a bus stop on Upland Road which takes you to New Market or Britomart. There is also the Orakei Train Station nearby which also heads to Britomart the main train hub in Auckland. Uber is a great way to get around Auckland.
