Positive: It was central to all the places we visited & especially close to Kaikohe to Kerikeri! Ngawha Springs or a long trip to Cape Reinga. Its also close to Paihia & the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. The moment you drive through the gate you'll be greeted with welcoming smiles from the owners. Then you'll be rewarded with breath-taking views of the mountains that surrounds your stay. You could sit in the pool for ages enjoying the views. Its a relaxed, quiet, peaceful & private home next to the owners whose kind, gentle, witty with excellent communication. The 2 rooms are big and one room has a library of books that we enjoyed reading by the poolside! The kitchen has everything you need & the shower/toilet is big. They have laundromat's everywhere in each town that runs for 24hr's & this we enjoyed talking very much with the local's. But your stay does have washing facilities provided. Electric blankets were a bonus & your beds are comfy & warm. You can go for a walk on a gravel road away from the main road greeted by friendly cows. We can't thank Felicity & Don enough for such an amazing stay (& Starr) We had a busy week/weekend with Meetings & breaks but they have made us feel right at home. We definitely will book this place again!!! ps Wifi was great & the fat Fijoas drops fresh each day 😋
