Tokomaru Bay is well appointed with four square supermarket with a 24 hour petrol stop,
The local boat ramp is across the road from the local tavern where you can order meals
or just have a quiet drink and watch the sea
The beach has miles of sand, great surf, swimming and fishing and is very quiet
At the northern end of Tokomaru Bay there are freezing works ruins
and a wharf of some historical interest which is great for family fishing.
A crayfish pot is available if you want to try your hand at catching them from the wharf

Summary: A gem of a property in a tranquil part of the world. Stan was really prompt at responding to any queries with the booking and was on hand to welcome us on arrival. Stan provided some useful local knowledge for dinner options. The accommodation was well set up and would be a lovely spot for a larger group as well as smaller family groups.
