Positive: Mara is in a great location. While zero view from the apartment, you don't have far to walk to get a great view down the shotover valley at the back. Also some great cafes nearby. Gantley's in the morning for coffee was great, but not open til 9:00am unfortunately.

Negative: Directions to find it were not good. It is actually in a block called Residences du park. Each apartment is named something different. We were not alone in finding it difficult to find. Asking the cafe on the corner "The General" was the only way we found it.

Summary: Great central spot to make a temporary home whilst exploring the area.
