3 Bedroom House in Ashburton

Meg's Place is a freshly renovated attractive 3(4) bedroom home located in a quiet street of Allenton. Everything including linen is provided in the price, so just bring your food.

Or if cooking is off the menu stroll only 200 metres down to the Bedrock Cafe at the
Allenton Shops, Macs Fish and Chips or grab some supplies from the Four Square. All the big fast food outlets, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are within a short drive.

The house is heated (and cooled) by a heat pump and kept snug and warm during the cooler winter months by the Yunca Wood burner, with wood supplied. Heat is pushed through the heat transfer system keeping sleeping guests snug as a bug. Electric blankets are provided for each bed.

All our houses and apartments offer free unlimited Wifi and Sky TV with sports channel. Full laundry with dryer and clothes line.

Off street parking.

Less than 100 metres down Windsor Street is the entrance to the "Hidden Park" a small grassed and treed area suitable to kick a ball around and chase a the kids. Alternatively a 10 minute walk will find you at the Domain a large wooded area located in the centre of town. The new EA Networks swimming pool and stadium are only about 15 minutes walk away offering gym facilities, cafe and several pools/spa to train or soak in.

The towns shopping area is less than 5 minutes drive and has all the big chain stores and fast food outlets.

Ashburton also has a good library and newly opened Museum and Heritage centre plus many more things to fill your day.

Summary: The house was very clean & tidy. It had everything that was needed plus more. The heat pump, fireplace and HRV were great on the cold days & nights.
