Nestled on a quiet rear section surrounded by similar style homes, this private residence is warm, comfortable and conveniently located to be an easy stroll into Methven.

The area offers an abundance of activities, close to Awa Awa Reserve (walking tracks), the newly opened and well-renowned Opuke Thermal Pools, close to Mt. Hutt Skifield, Mt. Hutt Bike Park and many other activities such as jet boating, hot air ballooning, helicopter flights and many cafe's and restaurants.

This home is newly built and contains everything you would expect for an alpine climate, double-glazed throughout, insulated and a large heat pump to keep the home cosy during the colder months, and cool during the warm months!

The two spacious bedrooms consist of two queen-sized beds, suitable for four guests. We can accommodate a portacot if required for an infant. The two bedrooms are supported by a large family bathroom with a standalone bath tub, shower and vanity alongside a separate toilet.

Within the open-plan kitchen and lounge area you will find a Smart TV, ready for you to stream your chosen platform, alongside watching standard Freeview channels. The lounge offers a dining room table, breakfast bar and stools, couches and large doors open to the covered patio area. A seperate laundry room offers a washing machine, clothes rack for drying clothes and other amenities that may be required for your stay.

The basics are provided including hotel quality linens, salt and pepper, oil, tea/coffee and sugar. The kitchen is well equipped for short or long term stays!

Located on a rear section that has a shared driveway with three other properties, your outlook from the bedrooms and lounge is not considered to intrude on neighbours and you will feel comfortable relaxing as you see fit. The 800m walk to the centre of Methven will take you approximately 11 minutes, and the Opuke Thermal Pools is approximately a 15-minute walk (1.0km).

The master suite is locked but all other areas of the house are accessible to guests. The garage is not available for use during your stay however there is space for two vehicles in the driveway and plenty of free off-street parking.

Methven is a quiet town and known to be a reasonably safe area. This property is surrounded by quiet neighbours in owner-occupied properties or tenanted by quiet families.

Ideally, a vehicle is required as there is no public transport in Methven, except for the Ski Bus which travels between Mt. Hutt and Methven on a regular basis throughout the ski season. You can walk to all amenities in Methven from the house.

As there are other properties surrounding our home we do request that guests respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9.00pm - 8.00am.
