This bach is the ideal holiday relaxing retreat right on the beach front of Oakura Beach. Walk down the 10 steps and you are on the sand. Wake up in the mornings and hear the waves and the surf. Enjoy your breakfast and dinner on the deck viewing the ocean. Great swimming and life guard patrolled beach over summer vocation. A five minute walk to the local shops, cafes and dining.
A 15 minute drive to the city of New Plymouth where you can visit the the galleries, great dining or cafes, shopping, beautiful gardens e,g Pukekura Park - known for the lights or wonderful gardens, Pukeiti Rhododendron festival, walk or cycle on the beachfront walkway. Drive to Mt Egmont/Taranaki and such many more

Summary: Great location. Loved the view of the beach and the sea. An older property with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Unfortunately the Taranaki weather was miserable so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space and the beach as much as we would have liked to.Great, responsive, helpful communication from Noeleen.We needed to use the fold out sofa as a bed. This doesn’t appear to have been used for some time and it needed a good clean and spray for spiders.
