The harbour is directly across the road and is easily accessible for your kayak. Enjoy a stroll to the beach or an invigorating walk to Bryans Beach over the Onekawa Te Mawhai Regional Park. This trail has magnificent views all the way to East Cape. Stay a couple of nights or use this as a base to discover some fantastic cycle trails, in and around Opotiki. Only 35 minutes to Whakatane or 15 minutes to Opotiki, this is a great location to get away from it all, but still with the convenience of towns and shopping nearby.
