Summary: We had such an awesome New Year’s week staying here. A week on Waiheke can be a long time for some people, but staying in this caravan made each day unique, fun and interesting. The location is amazing, a stone’s throw away to Oneroa beach and town center. We brought our car, but there’s a bus stop literally across the road. When not visiting wineries and beaches, we really enjoyed just hanging out in the caravan, cooking a nice meal, reading, watching TV, just having a great time relaxing. The caravan has all the features of a regular house and more: clean flushing toilet, hot shower with great water pressure, aircon, full kitchen, big fridge, TV with HDMI capability, radio hooked to built-in speaker, lots of spacious lounging area in the caravan as well as the outdoor area. We had many meals on the lawn furniture and sunbathed on the loungers when the weather was good. The hosts Kerry and Adam are easy-going and welcoming. They don’t live on the property, but are happy to drop by if you need anything at all. They have thought of everything guests might need: towels, beach towels, all toiletries, all kitchenware and crockery, oil and spices, tea and coffee, every type of wine and beer glasses... Because we were the first guests ever, we were welcomed with lots of other goodies too! Two things we did bring and would recommend to other guests: 1. Eye masks for sleeping because it does get very bright very early over the bed. 2. HDMI cable and a laptop with downloaded movies and shows to hook it up to the bedroom TV for on-demand entertainment. There’s no wifi, but it felt nice to be unplugged for a while, and our phone data was enough when we needed internet. We’ve stayed in all kinds of places around the world, but this is our first time in a luxury caravan. Thanks Kerry and Adam for giving us a memorable stay that we’ll treasure forever. We’ll be recommending this place to all our friends!
