The space

Just a 35 minute ferry ride from Auckland City, New Zealand's Waiheke Island is a magical place. The ferry-ride alone is a scenic delight, passing some of the Hauraki Gulf's most beautiful islands, Rangitoto (259mtr high inactive volcano), Motutapu, Great Barrier and Motuihe and dolphins and whales frequently visit the Hauraki Gulf.

Waiheke Island is one of worlds most beautiful small islands, voted 4th best Island in the world and 5th in the world's top 10 regions for 2016.

Breath-taking scenery, beautiful beaches, vineyards, olive groves, local boutique shops, arts and crafts, exhibitions, gallery's, restaurants and café's, coastal and bush walks and bird life galore!

Centrally located on Waiheke Island, Palm Beach is peaceful and quiet with a stunningly beautiful safe swimming, white sand beach and abundant birdlife

This stand-alone Villa, (not an apartment) has a deck with outdoor furniture and barbecue and views down to Palm Beach, the Pacific Ocean and islands beyond... the pristine white sands, a convenience/mini grocery store with coffee, ice creams, great toasties and milkshakes, and an awesome licensed restaurant and bar right next door, are all only a 7 minute tree lined stroll away.

Bus stop at the bottom of the driveway and pick up and drop off is also available for Waiheke Island's famous wine tours or enjoy the local boutique shops, arts & crafts, exhibitions, gallery's, restaurants & café's on the Island

The living space is elevated with lovely airy feel and air-conditioning for summer and winter climate control

If you are 21 or over, with a current full drivers license, you can hire the car for the day/night/s of your stay from only $60.00 per day. The car must be refuelled upon return to the carpark after your stay.

There is a bond required, $1,000 if you are aged 26 and over, drivers aged 21 to 25 are required to pay $1,500, and drivers aged 25 or over who have held a licence to drive in NZ for less than 12 months are also required to pay $1,500 … these are our insurance excesses for any accidents or damage. Loss of key or the car being returned not fully refuelled, will be deducted from your bond. The bond will be refunded after your rental period and inspection has been completed.

This villa is privately owned but located within the security and manicured grounds of the Waiheke Island Resort at 4 Bay Road in Palm Beach. Although within the grounds, being privately owned and not run as part of the resort managed facility you are not officially entitled to use the swimming pool, spa pool or mini golf, but AS LONG AS YOU CHECK WITH RECEPTION FIRST AND THERE ARE NO PRIVATE FUNCTIONS BEING HELD, YOU CAN BUY A "POOL PASS" FOR $10 PER PERSON PER STAY, ENTITLING YOU TO USE THE POOL DECK, WITH SWIMMING POOL AND SPA POOL, AND YOU CAN OF COURSE BUY FOOD AND BEVERAGE TO ENJOY FROM THE BAR AND RESTAURANT, OPEN FROM EARLY MOST DAYS :) THERE IS ALSO MINI GOLF, AGAIN AS LONG AS IT IS NOT BOOKED WITH A PRIVATE FUNCTION, YOU CAN ENQUIRE TO PLAY FOR $10 PER PERSON

There is unallocated off-street parking and a bus stop opposite the entrance

There is a guest laundry with commercial washing machine and dryer available at 2 x $2 per wash and 2 x $2 per dry.
