Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this property. The main house is spacious, homely, and perfect for families, with a large open-plan lounge and kitchen that flow out onto a wraparound deck connecting all the bedrooms. Right beside the house are two fully self-contained cottages, each with their own kitchen and private deck—ideal for accommodating our large family comfortably. The setting is beautiful, with views over a quiet paddock with goats and chickens, and surrounding market gardening land that adds to the rural charm. The location worked perfectly for us: close to Pukekohe for shopping and dining, and just minutes from State Highway 1, making day trips into Auckland or down to the Coromandel very easy. Our host, Robert, greeted us in person and was incredibly friendly and helpful. Although he lives onsite in a semi-detached part of the house, he gave us complete privacy throughout our stay. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for a peaceful rural getaway with plenty of space and great access to nearby attractions.
Negative: Only wished we could have stayed longer.
