Small cottage with separate living area, single bed acts as a couch. Main bedroom with the most comfortable bed ever. A divider separates the shower from the bedroom. Rural outlook (our house is below) and only a short walk to a nearby beach (as seen in photos), great for snorkeling or fishing. Perfect spot for the dive or surf enthusiast with arguably some of the best dive/surf spots in New Zealand. Steps to the cottage (not suitable for those with mobility issues) This place will help you reconnect with nature - the night sky is amazing. TV and WIFI, no washing machine. Sheets and towels provided. Good dogs are welcome. (on street parking, no fences so dogs aren't able to be left)

Summary: Property was exactly as we had expected. It was quaint and comfy and we already knew that it was going to be compact with basic shower facilities (which were perfectly adequate). There were several lovely touches which included a jug of milk in the fridge, a pack of coffee to use in the plunger, a hot water bottle and really nice mugs! Great non-stick pans and a seriously good potato peeler - sometimes its the little things which make the difference. The bed was super comfy and dining out on the deck surrounded by the green hillside was fabulous. All in all, a lovely stay.
