Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was convenient however we were pleased we had a car. The kitchen was a bonus and it was good to have access to a washing machine and dryer. The bed was quite comfortable.
Negative: The accomodation was very dark- lack of light and black interiors which may be ok in winter but not in March. We felt cramped even with only 2 of us and there was little privacy as the outdoor area was very exposed to neighbours on all sides. Tea and coffee provisions were very inadequate. We were there for 7 days and ran out of these basics in 2 days. Parking was a real challenge. Even though, theoretically, there was parking out the front of the property, we never secured a park there. No reserved parking meant we were forced to park either a long way from the accom or revert to parking on the grassed areas.
Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in Queenstown & we would encourage the owners to make Rakau villa cosier.
