Opononi Beach House is a large 2 storied beach house. 3 beds, 2 baths, sleeps 6. 3 sunny outdoor dining areas and teen retreat /bar area upstairs. Smart TV, wifi. Harbour and sand dune views. Extensively renovated cottage. Guests enjoy an oasis of outdoor fun including beaches, sand dunes, fishing, walking, art and culture. Previously known as The Arty B&B the house has retained its soul of "yester-year" and delights guests with its harbour views, tropical gardens and west coast sunsets.

All linen supplied. Fully equipped kitchen. Basic cooking items and condiments provided. Complimentary wi-fi and netflix included, smart TV. Fully renovated house with arty indoor/outdoor flow. Office setup with desk and chair which allows you to work while on holiday. We have a funky and unique building away from the main dwelling which is used as a library to relax and read in. Harbour and water views throughout the house. Parking for 3 cars . Approx 1.3km from Opononi Hotel, wharf, beach, grocery store which equates to a 15 minute walk (we do advise caution when walking as the walk involves a State Highway).
Other things to note -
- The BBQ is available to use. We kindly request you clean the BBQ before departure.
- We have 2 foldaway beds that can be used for children on arrangement to sleep maximum of 8 people (additional charges apply $10 per child per night).
- Remember to take your rubbish with you and drop off at the local refuse centre as we have no rubbish collection service.
-Owners have one small locked room at back of house to store personal belongs.
- Linen (included for 6 guests);
- Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave.
- $60 cleaning fee added during booking process.
- NB: NUMBER OF GUESTS TO BE DETERMINED BEFORE ARRIVAL.
