Positive: The property itself was fantastic, the views alone were are real surprise. The apartment was furnished really well, thought out and everything you could possibly require. Had help when needed over the phone, although the language barrier was at times difficult. Close to all the tourist attractions, half decent coffee around the corner at Rakau (important for Melbournians, and Kiwi's don't know good coffee unfortunately).
Negative: For reasons unknown to me, the provider failed to send the required information to me via txt/email prior to arrival from Australia, even though I got in contact before I got on the plane to check in with them. It resulted in our arrival circa 10:00 pm with me having to call an answering service to get help. On the 2nd day, the hot water heater broke down, which, with 3 women and myself, is never good. We initially thought we'd just run out of hot water, so it wasn't until the next day the penny dropped. To the hotels credit, they did fix it asap, I called in 9:00 am the morning, it was fixed by 9:00 pm. It seems tradespeople are hard to find anywhere in the world! The overall inconvenience means they get an 8 out of 10. Given what it cost to stay here, they offered no compensation for the inconvenience at all.
