Welcome to your beach stay! This sunny four bedroom classic 1950’s bach is one street back from popular Foxton Beach, and can sleep up to four adults and five children.

Decked out in retro furniture, Axminster carpets and vintage furnishings, plus all the modern essentials for a classic kiwi holiday at the beach - look no further for a spot to call home.

Larger than your average bach, the property is spacious and comfortable. Upstairs off the entrance hallway there is an open plan kitchen (fully equipped with toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine etc) and diner, with the lounge leading to a sunny conservatory with wicker couches to enjoy the morning sun, and stocked with toys and puzzles for the kids to get in to. There is a large deck off the dining room with outdoor seating and beanbags, which leads to the fully fenced yard - perfect after a day beaching! There’s a queen bedroom upstairs, with the other three bedrooms (a king and two bunk rooms) and the bathroom/laundry downstairs. Please note that you must walk through one of the bunk rooms to access the master bedroom (doors separate the two rooms). The property lends itself well to all seasons, being elevated to take advantage of the sea breezes and all day sun. It is well equipped with heatpump/heaters for those cooler months.

With the beach, estuary, dunes, forest (with bike trails), a new pump track, basketball and tennis courts and skate park only a few minutes walking distance, you are completely set up with things to do whilst you’re visiting, at all times of the year.

In terms of amenities, there’s OBE, the local restaurant/bar/ice cream stand a one minute walk away, a well stocked Four Square, two fish & chip shops and jetski/paddleboard hire. Foxton township is 10 minutes away with a New World supermarket, independent stores, a gallery, cafes and the redeveloped river loop. Off the Loop Wakeboard park in also on the loop and open in summer.

Please note that this is our family bach and not a party house. Any bookings exceeding 4 adults will be cancelled, sorry. Please also note that due to a bad experience, we will not host school sports teams in the property.

Cleaning fee includes bed linens, however you will need to bring your own bath and beach towels.
